What is happening?

Works to reinstate the 4th hole will commence on Monday 30th January. The 4th hole will be closed from Tuesday 31st January until all works have been completed. To ensure 18 holes, the 9th hole will be split into a 158m Par 3 with a temporary green and a 276m Par 4, with a temporary tee (see image below).

Description of works:

  • Temporary green and tee installed on the existing 9th hole to facilitate holes 8 and 9
  • Temporary path installed to direct players from the 3rd hole to the 5th
  • Tree removals
  • Fairway realignment
  • Construction of new tees
  • Modification of bunkers
  • Installation of new maintenance track
  • Installation of new exposed aggregate path

How will it impact me?

From Tuesday 31st January, all golfers will be required to read and comply with all signage directing them from the 3rd hole to the 5th, including changed access path conditions. Out of bounds zones will be marked on the 4th hole to ensure the safety of all golfers during the works. Golfers must not attempt to retrieve balls in areas marked “out of bounds”. The table below shows the change to Hole sequencing.

When will the works be completed?

Works are anticipated to be completed by Friday 31 March.
