No Boundaries Come & Try All Ability Sessions
Come and celebrate Disability Day with us on Saturday 3rd December with some FREE Come & Try No Boundaries All Abilities golf sessions, designed for anyone with a physical, intellectual or autistic disability.
In partnership with Special Olympics Australia, these all ability sessions have been modified to support people with a disability. Run by the Victorian Special Olympics State Coach and PGA Teaching Professional Scott McDermott – and supported by his successful athletes who have just competed in the National Special Olympics Games where they all won a medal – Scott has over 20 years experience in the industry and 10 years as a fully qualified PGA Teaching Professional. Scott has also received additional advanced training to support and deliver the All Abilities program and achieved amazing outcomes at the recent Special Olympics Games.
If you have a disability and are interested to get into golf then come along and see what it’s all about. Hear from others just like you!
What you can expect:
- Introduction to the game
- Full swing review
- Putting
- Chipping
It’s also a great opportunity to ask questions of golfers with a disability who have been successful in building new knowledge and skills as well as gaining better social skills.
Come and give golf a go in a social, friendly and supportive setting and experience all of the facilities at Centenary Park Golf Course including the Driving Range, Practice Putting Green and Short Game areas.
