Meet the Team - Say hi to Jordan!

Jordan is our Golf Operations Assistant here at Centenary Park Golf Course. Having joined the team 8 months ago, Jordan has really inserted himself as a people person who really enjoys working with the team and the interactions with you, our customers.

Jordan thrives on being able to provide an ideal golfing experience to all our players. He’s continually learning about the game of golf from those around him. He’s recently started playing on the course, too.

It seems like Warren’s sense of humour is a common thread as Jordan also doesn’t love having to deal with Warren making terrible jokes every time he’s on shift! Go the Dad jokes!

Want to learn more about Jordan and what he gets up to when he’s not working at Centenary Park? Jordan is currently in his last year at ACU (Australian Catholic University) where he is studying a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science. Once completed, he plans on studying further to become a Physiotherapist – he’s quite passionate about rehabilitation in sport.

Jordan is a bit of a superstar basketball player and played at all levels during his junior career for the Frankston Blues basketball team. He’s been fortunate enough to travel to the USA to play against high school teams all across the west coast from Seattle down to LA. He’s a keen traveler who enjoys discovering new cultures and places, having been to the USA an additional 3 times, as well as Canada and Singapore twice.

Since he’s stopped playing competitive basketball, Jordan has picked up a passion for golf (funny that!) and plays with fellow co-worker and best friend Josh. He’s getting the hang of the game and Warren has been helping him out with a couple of lessons on how to hit the ball straighter. With time, practice and plenty of patience, Jordan is hoping to develop his golf and be able to play at a much better playing level than now!

If you see Jordan while he’s busy working at the course or playing a round himself, be sure to give say hi or give him some pointers!
