Meet the Team - Our Venue Manager Mitch!

We have a fantastic team here at Centenary Park Golf Course and we want you to get to know them a little better!

We’re sure you’ve all seen this friendly face around – meet Mitch Ferguson, the Venue Manager here at Centenary Park.

As Boss-man for the course, Mitch is responsible for managing the strategic and operational objectives of Centenary Park Golf Course and to ensure the recruitment and training of staff.

With a background in leisure facility management for over 10 years, Mitch shares his wealth of knowledge through constantly developing and refining the program here at Centenary Park. Mitch works hard to ensure a great experience and service for all of our patrons and is supporting the company’s vision to build a unique and engaging ‘community hub’ where golf is played.

Mitch has been leading the way for the team at Centenary Park since Clublinks Management took over managing the site for Frankston City Council 2.5 years ago and he loves working with the team and you, our players, making his days rewarding and enjoyable each day. What he doesn’t love so much is PGA Pro’s Warren jokes…but we all love a good Dad joke don’t we 😉

Outside of work Mitch played Aussie Rules football for East Malvern Football Club for 17 years, is a keen Cats Geelong supporter, and has an amazing wife Cazz and pet Cavoodle Bentley. He truly enjoys meeting and interacting with people, sports of any variety and especially the coffee machine at work. Latte anyone?

Slowly but surely (slowly being the operative word) Mitch is working on his golfing ability. Free time to play golf is thin when you’re on the ground running the show! But feel free to share a golf tip or two with Mitch next time you see him in the Pro Shop.
